Golden Culture Guide

Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers take part in culture through a thoughtful, adaptable creative activity. A strong contribution explains the idea clearly, anticipates where it may not work and gives readers room to make it their own.

What we are looking for

Pitch pieces about prompts, formats, materials, participation or reflection. Useful proposals might compare two ways of running an activity, explain why a creative format works as it does, or offer a clear starting point for a particular occasion. Keep the scope focused and avoid claims that require professional expertise or special access.

What makes a good pitch

Tell us the working idea, who it might help, what readers could do or notice, and what makes the approach distinct. Mention any sources or permissions needed, and be candid about limitations. We value specific examples and plain language over grand claims or a fully polished draft.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include your proposed angle and a short outline in the message. We cannot promise to accept or publish a pitch, and a proposal should not assume that it has been commissioned.

Our point of view

Making culture is part of culture

A rough first try can be more revealing than a perfect result. We look for activities that leave room to adapt, share and begin again.
