Golden Culture Guide

About

Golden Culture Guide is about participating in culture, not only encountering it. We explore accessible creative activities that people can adapt for a gathering, classroom, library, club or kitchen table, without assuming specialist tools or a finished product.

What belongs here

Expect prompts, activity formats, material choices and ways to invite participation. A piece might help a group make a shared story, trade short creative contributions or build something from readily available materials. The aim is a useful starting point, not a recipe that must be followed exactly.

Who it is for

The publication is for curious people who organise or join creative activities, whether they are trying something with friends, family, colleagues or a wider group. No art background is needed. We favour ideas that can be scaled, altered or paused when the room has different needs.

How we approach it

We describe the choices behind an activity: what its prompt invites, how its format shapes participation, and where materials or instructions may get in the way. We are interested in what can be learned from an imperfect attempt, and careful not to promise that one activity will suit every group.

Our point of view

Making culture is part of culture

A rough first try can be more revealing than a perfect result. We look for activities that leave room to adapt, share and begin again.
