Editorial policy
Golden Culture Guide aims to make creative participation easier to understand and adapt. We distinguish description from opinion, check factual claims before publication and make room for corrections when something is wrong or unclear.
Accuracy and review
We check names, dates, quotations and other factual details against reliable material available to us, and we avoid presenting a personal preference as a universal rule. Where a suggestion depends on context, we say so. We do not claim that an activity has been tested by a group unless that is established and relevant.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are made for reader relevance, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. Any paid, gifted or otherwise supported material is clearly identified where it appears, and partner placements are labelled so readers can distinguish them from editorial coverage.
Corrections and illustrations
If you spot a factual error, contact us with the article and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, noting significant changes where useful. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; these are identified where they appear, and are not presented as documentary images.
Making culture is part of culture
A rough first try can be more revealing than a perfect result. We look for activities that leave room to adapt, share and begin again.
